Amanda Rattigan is sixteen years old and has been dancing since the age of two. She has been trained proficiently in the styles of Contemporary, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Ballet, and Musical Theatre. She has been dancing competitively for five years. Her team has been apart of numerous awards such as first overall, People’s Choice, Special Judges Award, Final Dance-Offs, and have been awarded Golden Tickets to Nationals. Amanda has been a high scoring soloist, has won special judges awards, and scholarships to various conventions.
Amanda is involved with her High School’s Dance Ensemble in which she is given the outlet the choreograph dedication pieces on peers for their school’s Evening of Dance. Amanda is also Captain of her High School’s Varsity Dance Team in which she was given the honor to choreograph the piece to perform at football games across Long Island.
Amanda is thrilled to be performing as the Waltz Queen in Waltz of the Flowers and Arabian in her first ever Nutcracker Performance. She aspires to be a professional dancer on Broadway or in a Contemporary Company. She aspires to build a reputable name for herself in the performance industry with her choreography.
