Jessica started off her teaching experience at Ballet Petite in Bethesda, MD and Falls Church, VA. She taught children as young as 18 months old and as old as 13 years old. She then moved to San Francisco, CA for a pre-professional training program with LINES Ballet where a pedagogy course was part of her curriculum, expanding her teaching knowledge. She has spent this past year teaching dance to children at the Police Athletic League in the Bronx and in Harlem as a Community Ambassador for Elisa Monte Dance. Additionally, she teaches open “pop up” contemporary classes throughout New York to her professional peers. Dance Bio: Jessica is a freelance dancer based in New York City. She trained at The Joffrey Ballet School and graduated from the LINES Ballet Training Program. She has had the pleasure of working with various artists such as Shannon Gillen, Laja Field, Martin Durov, Idan Sharabi, Nathaniel Hunt, Troy Ogilvie, and Tiffany Rea-Fisher. Additionally, Jessica recently attended b12 in Berlin where she worked with Johannes Wieland, Guy Nader & Maria Campos, and Jos Baker. She is currently collaborating with her colleague, Alex Schmidt, to create an evening length work titled TWO IN SEVEN BILLION.
